Tara Willow

Tara Willow is an emerging Perth based artist who predominantly works with coloured pencil, monotype printing, and charcoal.

Her works explore the natural environment, how it evolves through time, and the way in which people respond to and view it. These works, often rich and colourful, draw people in to a world that is both familiar and new. Landscapes are often superimposed, mirrored and layered to create a characteristic dreamlike feel. Tara works are heavily influenced by the Australian landscape, especially the forests of southern WA. She is drawn to the monumental scale of these landscapes and the sense of escapism they provide.
